**Reporting to CEO**

The role and remit of a Supply Chain Director (SCD) are many and varied. As a leader, the DSC is responsible for managing and improving supply chain processes. They are responsible for:
Gathering and analysing data to understand the supply chain and identify opportunities for improvement;
Develop and implement strategies and plans to improve the supply chain and reduce costs;
Establish and maintain successful relationships with suppliers, customers and business partners;
Evaluate and monitor supply chain performance and develop action plans in the event of problems;
Identify and develop technologies to improve processes and reduce costs;
Manage supply chain teams and ensure their performance;
Ensure compliance with supply chain regulations and procedures;
Develop and maintain efficient and reliable stock and delivery management systems.

Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with overall business objectives. Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation within the supply chain to enhance competitiveness.

Operational Excellence:
Oversee end-to-end supply chain processes, including procurement, production planning, logistics, and distribution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and enhance overall supply chain efficiency.

Procurement:
Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services. Collaborate with vendors to negotiate favorable terms and conditions, while maintaining strong supplier relationships. Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Contract Management:
Oversee the development, review, and negotiation of contracts with suppliers and service providers. Ensure compliance with contractual agreements and manage any necessary modifications. Collaborate with legal and other relevant departments to address contractual issues and risks. Planning: Lead the development and implementation of demand forecasting and planning processes to optimize inventory levels

**Qualifications: -**

**Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. -**

**Minimum10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with a focus on procurement, contract management, planning, logistics, and warehouse/inventory FROM A INDUSTRIAL MANUFACTURING COMPANY IN SAUDI
