- The Role
- Develop and implement a comprehensive supply chain and procurement strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with key suppliers and partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Oversee the procurement process, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management.
- Manage inventory levels and optimize supply chain processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Lead cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the supply chain.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and regularly report on supply chain performance to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including customs regulations, trade compliance, and ethical sourcing practices.
- Develop and manage the supply chain budget and oversee financial performance.
- Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain management, with a preference for the automotive industry and EV automotive industry.
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing best-in-class supply chain and procurement teams and strategies in a performance driven-culture that resulted in measurable performance improvements, reduced best-in-market costs, detailed should-cost analysis, complex commercial negotiations, and driving sustainable commercial success.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decision-making.
- Excellent communication and people skills, with the teams. to build relationships and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience managing a team of supply chain and procurement professionals across multiple locations.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve results.
- Proven track record of cross-functional engagement with engineering, manufacturing, sales and marketing.
- Experience leading supply chain and procurement operations in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East.
- Fluent in Arabic and English.
