**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Review and Fill Quarterly Refund Requests**:

- Review and ensure the accuracy of quarterly refund requests for construction or real estate-related projects.
- Verify supporting documents and compliance with project-specific contracts and legal requirements.
- Ensure refunds align with construction or real estate regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.
- **Submit Refund Requests in ZATKA Portal**:

- Prepare, review, and submit quarterly refund requests via the ZATKA Portal, ensuring all necessary documentation is included.
- Track the status of each refund request and coordinate with relevant teams for follow-ups.
- Maintain a detailed record of all refund submissions and ensure timely processing.
- **Proportional Deduction Calculations**:

- Work on calculating proportional deductions for construction projects and real estate transactions, including tax deductions, payments, and allowances.
- Ensure compliance with construction industry-specific tax laws and regulations.
- Monitor and report on deduction patterns, offering insights into cost-saving measures or improvements.
- **Bank Reconciliation**:

- Perform monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts, ensuring transactions related to construction and real estate operations are accurately recorded.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, including project-specific payments and expenses.
- Collaborate with the finance team to resolve any issues related to bank transactions.
- **General Accounting and Reporting**:

- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring they align with construction or real estate standards.
- Work closely with project managers to allocate costs accurately, including materials, labor, and overheads.
- Maintain project accounting records, including cost tracking, progress billing, and capital expenditures.
- **Compliance and Best Practices**:

- Ensure all accounting activities comply with local regulations, tax laws, and industry standards.
- Stay updated with changes in construction or real estate-related financial regulations and tax compliance.
- Implement best accounting practices specific to the construction/real estate industry to improve operational efficiency.
- **Collaboration**:

- Work closely with the project management team, finance department, and external auditors to ensure proper financial reporting and controls.
- Assist in month-end closing processes and ensure timely reporting to stakeholders.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or equivalent qualification preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in the construction or real estate industry.
- In-depth knowledge of construction accounting, project costing, and real estate transactions.
- Familiarity with tax regulations, deductions, and refund procedures specific to the construction and real estate industries.
- Experience with ZATKA Portal and refund request submissions.
- Strong proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel (advanced).
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and make recommendations.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Knowledge of construction project accounting (e.g., work-in-progress, progress billing).
- Familiarity with real estate accounting principles (e.g., leases, property management, capital improvements).
- Understanding of ZATKA Portal and industry-specific refund procedures.

Pay: ﷼8,000.00 - ﷼10,000.00 per month
