As we continue to expand, we are seeking a talented and experienced **_HSS&E Officer _**to join our dynamic team. **Position Overview**: We are looking for a skilled and motivated **_HSS&E Officer_** to act and operatively support the project team as expert and partner by planning, supervision, ensuring and reporting of appropriate activities with regards to incident prevention, effective monitoring (pro-active & re-active) and continuous improvements over the entire project site. Importance is the authority to intervene at any stage in the project, if proceedings impact targeted results negatively. **Responsibilities**: - Assist the site engineers, supervisors and workforce in coordinating and implementing the HSS&E Management System programs, - Follow up on compliance with company and client policies and standards, - Ensure that all safety measures included in the Project HSS&E Manual have been implemented, - Consult, advice and direct execution in matters relating to HSS&E, - Lead accident investigations to ensure that root-cause analysis is appropriately conducted, and corrective actions address the causes. - Maintain internal and external reporting according to established systems, - Responsible for the workforce adherence to company guidelines, - Ensure site complies with client's requirements, - Oversee implementation of site observation program, - Improvements Initiatives lesson learned feedback to HSE Manager to support further Process Improvements Initiatives, - Monitor readiness and workforce response to emergency situations through regularly held and documented drills, - Execute/Review/Monitor required HSS&E inspection, - Assist the HSS&E Management in maintaining and continuously improving the HSS&E culture on site, - Works in alignment with company and client in achieving "Target Zero" on project site, **Qualifications**: - Minimum of 5 years' of proven experience as HSS&E Officer in construction industry, - Construction HSS&E experience including execution of site preparation, demolition, installation, and commissioning scopes, - NEBOSH Certified (IGC1, IGC2 & IGC3), - Must be self-directed individual capable of working with mínimal supervision,
