Enforcing company safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
- Regularly inspecting work areas, equipment, and machinery to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
- Assessing workplace hazards and evaluating the level of risk they pose to employees, then implementing controls and preventive measures to mitigate these risks.
- Providing safety training to employees on topics such as hazard recognition, emergency procedures, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Investigating workplace accidents, injuries, and near misses to determine root causes and prevent recurrence through corrective actions.
- Developing and maintaining systems for reporting safety incidents, near misses, and hazards, and ensuring timely documentation and follow-up.
- Developing and implementing emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures, first aid protocols, and coordination with emergency services.
- Promoting a culture of safety throughout the organization by organizing safety awareness campaigns, distributing safety literature, and recognizing and rewarding safe behaviors.
- Monitoring workplace activities to ensure adherence to safety regulations and standards and taking corrective action when necessary to address non-compliance.
- Participating in safety meetings and committees to review safety performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement proactive measures to enhance safety practices and procedures

**Education and Certification Minimum Requirements** : NEBOSH IGC, OSHA, IOSH
