**Job Summary**
The Risk Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the financial stability and operational integrity of Rize. This position involves overseeing risk management frameworks, approving key financial transactions, and fostering a culture of compliance and innovation. The Risk Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine policies and mentor junior staff, contributing to the company’s growth and success.

**Responsibilities**:

- Exercise authority to approve daily transactions, ensuring alignment with risk policies.
- Lead and actively engage in multiple areas of risk management, including credit, underwriting, and collections.
- Develop and update underwriting, collection, and approval policies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Report team activities, achievements, and challenges to senior management, ensuring transparency and accountability.
- Provide mentorship and professional development support to junior analysts, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

**Job Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in risk management, with expertise in credit, collections, or underwriting.
- Proven ability to design and implement effective risk management frameworks.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with a focus on data-driven outcomes.
- Experience with technology-driven tools and AI/ML methodologies for risk assessment.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Familiarity with the FinTech or financial services industry is a plus.

- **Accuracy and Timeliness of Approvals**: Ensure high accuracy and quick turnaround times for approvals.
- **Team Performance Metrics**: Monitor and improve productivity, quality, and overall team performance.
- **Effectiveness of Policy Improvements**: Assess the impact and efficiency of updated risk policies.
- **Quality of Reporting to Management**: Deliver clear, comprehensive, and actionable reports to senior management.
