Reporting to: Risk Management Director

**Job Overview**

In today's rapidly evolving business landscape, identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential risks is paramount to ensuring an organization's long-term success and stability. A Risk Management Analyst plays a pivotal role in safeguarding out client’s (a reputed national bank) financial health and reputation by systematically analyzing threats and vulnerabilities. Dive in to explore how a Risk Management Analyst contributes to strategic decision-making and operational resilience, ensuring the organization is well-prepared to face and thrive amidst uncertainty. Operational Risk Analysts are responsible for analyzing, and reporting on Navy Federal s risk, quality, service, and controls, to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness, mitigate risk and remediate operational and regulatory vulnerabilities.

**Risk Management Analyst Responsibilities & Duties**
- Identify and analyze potential risks affecting the organization.
- Develop and implement risk assessment models and methodologies.
- Monitor and report on risk exposure and mitigation efforts.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure effective risk management practices.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare comprehensive risk reports and presentations for senior management.
- Stay updated with market trends and industry best practices related to risk management.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of existing risk procedures and recommend improvements.
- Assist in the development of risk management policies and procedures.
- Support the implementation of risk management frameworks and tools.

**Risk Management Analyst Qualifications & Skills**
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP) or similar certification.
- Experience in financial services, insurance, or a related industry.
- Financial Modelling, Academic training in the principals of accounting, corporate finance, capital markets products, and macro economics.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in risk management software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Advanced knowledge of market and regulatory trends.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Risk Management Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency with risk management software and data analysis tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance requirements.
- Previous experience in Banking and banking products is preferred.
