**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the preparation and distribution of internal financial statements and reports, maintaining the highest quality, reliability, and accuracy.
- Manage and streamline financial reporting processes to ensure timely delivery of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports.
- Lead the financial analysis to support strategic initiatives, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and forecasting.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure proper accounting treatment of transactions and to support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, as well as any international financial reporting standards (IFRS), and stay updated on changes in regulations and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors during financial and operational audits.
- Develop and monitor the company’s annual budget and long-term financial plans.
- Provide leadership and direction to the financial reporting and analysis team; manage and mentor junior staff.
- Work closely with other department heads to provide financial insights and analysis that can drive business decisions.
- Implement and maintain reporting procedures to comply with internal control requirements.
- Prepare presentations and financial reports for management, board of directors, and shareholders.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or equivalent certification required.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in financial reporting, with at least 3-5 years in a managerial or leadership role.

Skills and Competencies:

- Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting standards (e.g., GAAP, IFRS), and regulatory requirements (e.g., SEC regulations).
- Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting software.
- Proven track record of leading successful financial reporting projects and initiatives.
