Stand Design Manager is responsible for overall management of floor safety, stand design approvals and supervision of H&S floor safety contractors. Collaborating with event operations & show teams to ensure suppliers and exhibitor appointed contractors achieve the required Informa standards.

Primary areas of responsibility for event deliverables is the KSA region. This person should hold strong management aspects of: event staging, temporary structures, power distribution, AV & lighting, logistics, rigging & health & safety.
- Guide technical input to event specific H&S sections in relevant manual sections.
- Ensure H&S and stand regulations are compliant to applicable local legislation, and venue standards.
- Monitor and review stand plan submissions, to Permission to Build status.
- Evaluate stand design requirements and stand plan submissions and identify risk exposure and offer solutions.
- Evaluate any floor safety team and guide activities in line with applicable requirements.
- Oversee high risk activities e.g. early access, rigging, heavy lifts, large machinery etc.
- Provide safety inductions when required.
- Manage the onsite construction (build) and dismantlement (breakdown) stages.
- Support any onsite immediate action to incidents / emergency situations.
- Record event H&S event performance
- Liaise with sales & sponsorship teams where branding charges on stand designs are required.
- Management of appointed H&S floor safety contractor
- Provide recommended schedule for floor managers during the event.
- Provide input to the wash-up meeting lessons learned.

**Qualifications**
- NEBOSH International General Certificate or equivalent is a must.
- Able to demonstrate a proactive approach and take initiative, anticipating needs.
- Strong time management and organisational skills; can work to tight deadlines, able to prioritise and manage several different tasks at the same time.
- IT confident and able to work with various systems; including, but not limited to, excellent Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills.
- Ability and willingness to travel to events as required.
- A background knowledge in exhibition industry / operations
- Understand technical elements to construction design management.
- Demonstrable experience of working to deadlines and deliverables.
- Great handle of administrative responsibilities.
- Practice good time management.
- Be trustworthy, professional, and reliable.
- Practice confidentiality at all times.
- Demonstrate good teamwork with co-workers/peers.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, when required.
