**Context**:
The Journey Through Time Masterplan for AlUla, Saudi Arabia will immerse visitors in 200,000 years of natural and human history. Located 1,100 kilometers from Riyadh, AlUla consists of 22,561 square kilometers of lush oasis valleys, sandstone mountains, and ancient cultural heritage sites, including Hegra, Saudi Arabia’s first UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Connecting from the Al Ula International Airport to the five districts spanning the 20km heart of AlUla is the 46km low-carbon tram line, Al Ula Tram. It will be an expression of compliance with the #SaudiGreenInitiative to protect the environment and promote sustainability and will stand out with an aesthetic character inspired by the distinctive beauty of the natural and cultural environment.

We are now seeking an accomplished Quality Manager to join our Al Ula Tram project.

**Main duties**:
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

- Ensuring the Project Quality Management System is established, maintained, monitored and improved in compliance with the client’s quality requirements, and ensure these are implemented effectively.
- Review of the procedures related to the quality control and quality assurance of the woks in delivery of a right first time policy
- Ensuring that the DB contractor’s quality control system and quality assurance is in place and functional.
- Verification and validation of the effective implementation of the Contractor quality assurance and control plans by means of surveillance and audit of project activities and the associated records.
- Willing to conduct internal audits of various departments to evaluate conformance to established procedures and to evaluate the effectiveness of those procedures per standard.
- Oversees the testing plan reviews to assure that these follow the quality standards established for the overall project. Assures sufficient acceptable documentation recorded, maintained, distributed and retained.
- Recommends and ensures implementation of appropriate corrective actions to quality issues, in coordination with company management.
- Provides input to management on organization performance metrics, and process or procedural system improvements.
- Assesses those procedures used to define and implement the basic functions of the project organization to assure that they remain effective and that they continue to meet the needs of the client and of the organization.
- Provides leadership, guidance and training to staff.

**Technical skills**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent but notably with experience gained within rail/metro projects, heavy infrastructure and civil engineering projects.
- A minimum of 15 years’ experience in quality assurance and quality control on either infrastructure, civil engineering or rail projects
- Knowledge of QA\QC principles tools & techniques,
- Chartered Membership of a professional quality body.
- Excellent English language, verbal, reading and writing skills
- Experience in Auditing (minimum ISO 9001 Internal Audit certification)
