RES216 - Manager - Cost Planning

Qiddiya Investment Company is looking for a dedicated and strategic individual to join our team as Manager - Cost Planning (RES216). In this important role, you will be responsible for developing and managing cost estimates and budgets for a variety of innovative projects that aim to redefine entertainment in Saudi Arabia.

The Manager of Cost Planning will work closely with project teams to ensure accurate financial planning and effective resource allocation, while also monitoring project expenditures to align with organizational goals.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and maintain comprehensive cost plans for projects, ensuring they align with Qiddiya's strategic objectives.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates and detailed budgets, providing clear justification and assumptions for all figures.
- Conduct regular analysis of project financials, including variance and trend analysis, to provide insights on potential cost overruns or savings opportunities.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to collect relevant data and ensure consistency in cost planning across various teams.
- Produce detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management, clearly communicating project cost statuses and forecasts.
- Implement cost control measures and best practices to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the financial planning process.
- Stay abreast of industry trends in cost planning and management to continually enhance Qiddiya's processes and methodologies.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in finance, construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of relevant experience in cost planning or financial management, preferably within large-scale construction or development projects.
- Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of cost management principles.
- Proficient in cost estimation software, Excel, and financial modeling tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for conveying complex financial information.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and actionable insights in financial reporting.
