**DUTIES **AND** **RESPONSIBILITIES**

Review PFDs, P&IDs and HMB (Heat and Material Balance);
Participate in safety, environmental and operability reviews (HAZOP, ENVID, SIL etc.);
Prepare relief system design, including PSV sizing, flare hydraulics and radiation analysis;
Participate in P&ID’s development, including selection of design conditions, hydraulic analysis, line sizing and pipe specifications, equipment isolation, vent and drain systems, cause and effects;
Review of Process Descriptions, Data Sheets, calculations ,philosophy, simulation, reports and Specifications etc. as per the project requirements;
Review bid evaluation and technical recommendation of vendor;
Review project execution schedules and develops detailed schedule for design activities;
Prepare man-hours estimations for tenders as and when required;
Assistance with tender packages including BOQ, tender documents, scope of work etc.;
Undertake site visits and surveys as required, to gather information and resolve project related issues;
Executes work in accordance with internal quality systems;
Co-ordination and interfacing with other discipline teams as required by the Project;
During tendering stage, responsible for the review of enquiry documentation and the Scope of Work, perform pre-bid engineering, estimate man-hours and thus provide required inputs for bid preparation;
Execute and organize own work in compliance with the project deliverable requirements to ensure maximum efficiency;
Train entry level engineers;
**QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**

Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree or higher qualification in process or related discipline from a reputable college or university;
Minimum of 15 years’ proven work experience;
Experience in delivering design of major infrastructure projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or the wider MENA region;
**PHYSICAL AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS**

Must be in good health, physically fit & active;
Must have good analytical skills, interpersonal skills and team-working skills;
Must have well-developed planning and organizing skills;
Must place an emphasis on safety, teamwork, and aptitude toward challenging work;
Have rich experience with managing project process documentation, including H&M Balances, P&IDs, functional logic tables, alarm and trip settings, critical safety tables, control strategies, and operating procedures/training manuals through commissioning, start-up and operation;
Excellent knowledge of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory specifications;
Excellent knowledge of process engineering software’s like Aspen HYSYS, PIPESIM, OLGA, HTRI etc.;
Be a strong and effective leader of a team of process engineers or a dedicated multi-disciplinary technical task force;
