Job Summary:
The Electrical Technician - Power Systems is responsible for the safe and efficient operation, inspection, and maintenance of the electrical infrastructure, including power plants, substations, switchgears, and related equipment. The technician will ensure reliable power distribution across the facility and compliance with utility provider procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain the Main Power Plant professionally and efficiently.

Perform daily checks on all substations, ensuring proper operation and safety.

Inspect and maintain Ring Main Units (RMU) and MV switchgear.

Monitor and service transformers, ensuring optimal performance.

Maintain and troubleshoot LV panel boards, disconnect switches, and lighting control systems.

Oversee UPS and Central Battery Systems (CBS) for backup power integrity.

Monitor and maintain generator sets to ensure readiness and compliance.

Operate and support BMS (Building Management System) control and monitoring functions.

Interpret and make necessary adjustments based on technical drawings and schematics.

Follow and implement SCECO (Saudi Electricity Company) procedures and regulations.

Set up and calibrate electrical equipment as per design specifications.

Perform tasks under the Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) program to ensure system reliability.
Qualifications:
Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

Minimum 3-5 years of experience in power systems operation and maintenance.

Hands-on experience with RMUs, MV/LV switchgear, transformers, and generators.

Familiarity with BMS systems and electrical safety standards.

Knowledge of utility provider procedures (preferably SCECO).
