**The Job in a Nutshell**

We are seeking a highly experienced and visionary Director of Engineering - AI to lead the development and deployment of artificial intelligence solutions. You will oversee AI research, model development, and engineering infrastructure, ensuring alignment with business goals while driving innovation and efficiency.

**What You Will Do ❓**-
- Define and execute the AI engineering strategy in alignment with company objectives.
- Lead and mentor a team of AI engineers, data scientists, and software developers.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in AI and ML.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across product, data, and engineering teams to drive AI initiatives.- Oversee the design, development, and deployment of AI/ML models at scale.
- Drive improvements in model performance, accuracy, and scalability.- Architect and optimize AI infrastructure, leveraging cloud and on-premises solutions.
- Guide the adoption of AI frameworks, tools, and libraries for maximum efficiency.
- Drive automation and efficiency in AI workflows, reducing time to production.- Work closely with data teams to enhance data pipelines and model training processes.
- Partner with product teams to integrate AI-driven solutions into user experiences.
- Collaborate with business and strategy teams to align AI initiatives with company goals.

**What Are We Looking For❓**-
- 8+ years of experience in AI/ML, software engineering, or related fields.
- Strong background in AI, machine learning, deep learning, and NLP.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, or other relevant programming languages.
- Experience deploying AI models in production at scale using cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Solid understanding of MLOps, data pipelines, and distributed computing.- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to drive AI adoption and innovation within a business context.
