- **Financial Strategy**: You will develop and execute the company's financial strategy, working closely with the founding team and department heads to set financial goals, identify opportunities for growth and improvement, and develop financial projections.
- **Financial Planning and Analysis**: You will lead the budgeting and forecasting process, providing accurate and timely financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making. You will also develop and maintain financial models to evaluate potential scenarios and outcomes.
- **Fundraising**: Work closely with the founders to support in raising capital to finance the company's growth. This involves developing and executing fundraising strategies, preparing investor presentations, and negotiating with potential investors.
- Risk Management: Identify and manage financial risks that could impact the company's financial stability. This involves developing risk management strategies, monitoring and mitigating financial risks, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- **Financial Reporting and Compliance**: Prepare accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. This involves maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- **Financial Operations**: Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the company with your Finance Ops Lead, including accounting, cash management, financial reporting, and risk management. You will ensure that financial processes are efficient, effective, and in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- **Leadership and Team Management**: Lead the finance team and provide guidance and mentorship to team members. This involves setting clear expectations, developing team members' skills and capabilities, and fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- **Investor Relations**: You will work closely with investors and stakeholders to provide accurate and timely financial information and build strong relationships that support the company's growth and development.

**Requirements**:
**Experience needed**
- 4+ years of experience in a finance role
- 4+ years worth of experience in financial analytical thinking and/or financial planning
- Prior experience at a Big 4 company is a must
- Prior experience with due diligence, valuations, financial models is a must
- Prior understanding of unit economics and financial optimizations is a must
- Relevant experience and/or understanding of startup fundraising is a must
- Proficiency in paralegal matters that relate to startups
- Proficiency in Zoho and/or other accounting software
- Proven abilities to be a strategic thinker (short and long-term)
- Excellent knowledge in data analysis and forecasting models (You and Sheets are in a happily-ever-after relationship)
- Satisfying comprehension about the world of startups and VCs (investments, SAFEs, term sheets clauses, etc.)
- Has read Venture Deals and alike books is a nice-to-have
- 2+ years of experience in managing a team is a nice-to-have
