Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Mechanical Inspector (Saudi National) **to join our team in Green Riyadh Program. The SOW includes the construction of irrigation water tanks, irrigation networks, softscape, hardscape, and planting in 7 neighborhoods and 3 major roads within Riyadh City.

**What You'll Be Doing**:
Conducts inspections to determine if work has been done in accordance with contract specifications and may include any of the following:

- Irrigation and planting, roadway and overhead sign removal and installation.
- Installation of mechanical equipment

In addition:

- Maintains office files related to the project, quantity calculations and writes daily diaries.
- Prepares daily reports and other documentation, as required by the contract
- Recognizes potential conflicts, issues and problems, and reports to supervisor with proposed solution. May provide technical guidance to lower-level inspectors.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:
**Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Also requires at least 1 to 3 years of related experience on field projects, as well as formal certification from an independent organization, depending on type of inspection assignment.

**What Desired Skills You'll Bring**:
**Must be able to read and interpret plans and specifications and be thoroughly familiar with construction-related processes related to the area of assignment. Knowledge of English grammar and composition, the ability to communicate clearly both orally and in writing; to follow oral and written instructions, prepare written messages and simple charts and graphs.
