Jacobs is delivering engineering and construction management services on a significant port project in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The port is to be the world’s first state-of-the-art container terminal integrated with a logistics hub at its core, whilst continuing to serve a variety of other commodities through its general cargo facility and bulk handling equipment. The port has a rail connection as well as an automated warehouse to support the supply chain. Project scope mainly comprises of Marine works including quay walls, breakwater, revetment and dredging, Onshore civil, electrical, mechanical, and structural works, buildings, and Rail.

Working from our clients site in Saudi Arabia, as a Jacobs Civil Engineer you will: - Assist with site based structural inspections and design co-ordination services for works on site - Contribute to the production of client deliverables such as design / feasibility reports, inspection reports and calculation packages - Assist with the preparation of contract documents, bills of quantities and specifications - Provide technical and professional guidance, support and development to more junior engineers and technicians You will be working with other Engineers and Inspectors for the supervision of the construction of the works. You will represent Jacobs as a point of contact with the client for Civil Engineering Works aspects of the project, including progress reporting, safety, financial recommendations, quality control and design modifications. You will be able to ultilise your knowledge / communication skills by building trusted relationships with the Project Managers and with the client & contractor's counterpart staff. You will be focused on helping to implement safe construction practices (Beyond Zero) and on maintaining a high quality of construction. **Here’s What You’ll Need**: **_Jacobs.
