On behalf of our client, we are looking to recruit a **Procurement Manager.**

**Job Summary**

Plan, Supervise and control the purchase of Protein products as per the procurement plan from local and foreign suppliers, and ensure that all orders are received and cleared as per agreed schedule and in a cost/quality effective manner.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Managing the whole procurement process for perishables (Protein), namely Meat products.
- Manage relationships with new suppliers, prequalification of suppliers, bid shortlists, tender process, mid tender interviews, tender addendums, and responses to tender RFI’s.
- Identifying potential suppliers and maintaining excellent relationships with them.
- Manages all key supplier relationships, including foreign and local suppliers.
- Prepare RFQ’s, Tenders and written specifications, and presents recommendations after evaluation on purchases requiring management approval.
- Management of the purchasing process, including issuance of documentation necessary and receipt of proposals, all in line with company policies and procedures.
- Ensures that all contracts requiring competitive bidding are properly executed.
- Handling all the NPD requests of the company and dealing with the technical and quality teams both internally and externally.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms with suppliers and finance team to reach organization objectives of financial management.
- Studying all kinds of quotations and prices from suppliers according to company's standards and regulations.
- Evaluates overall revisions, price and past performance of each contract / supplier.
- Identification and realization of cost-saving and cost-reduction opportunities.
- Management of procurement staff in (and across) sourcing, contracting, transactional purchasing, supplier management, and miscellaneous internal procurement support activities
- Managing the skills and competency development of procurement staff.
- Management and enhancement of Procurement Department procedures, manuals, forms, reports etc
- Interacts with Quality Assurance on matters of vendor delivered quality.
- Control the implementation of all company purchases of perishables items from local and foreign suppliers.
- Supervise the customs clearance of perishable items purchased from foreign markets and ensure the speedy and cost effect delivery into store.
- Improve the process of registration new suppliers.
- Review and resolve any discrepancies with suppliers’ invoices, grievances, claims, conflicts, product non-conformance or quality issues.
- Ensure all departments are aware of purchasing decisions and critical material deliveries.
- Ensure supplier delivery periods and lead times are considered when awarding orders.

**Education and Training**
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering or other
- CIPP - Certified International Procurement Professional or Other equivalent certification
- Experience 5 years +
- Demonstratable understanding of procurement of protein products for Saudi Market.
- Bi-Lingual (English and Arabic essential)
- Existing relationships with Suppliers of meat products
