The QC Inspector will be responsible of the quality inspection tasks in the cell operations. In this role, he will build knowledge about all aspects of quality in operations and inspection during repair of gas turbine components from incoming inspection, in-process inspection and final inspection. He will also build knowledge about writing technical reports of job conditions and defects happen in operations.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
Description:
The Quality Assurance Technician performs product inspection of finished products, assemblies and compounds for good manufacturing practices to verify product meets specifications and are free of damage or defects.

**Key responsibilities/essential functions include**:

- Dispose or reject products, material and equipment not meeting specifications as per GE standards
- Inspect, test, or measure materials, products, installations and work for conformance to specifications
- Discuss inspection results with those responsible for products, and recommend necessary corrective actions
- Verify conformance to specifications and protocols and report outcomes
- Mark items with details such as grade and acceptance or rejection status
- Comply with EHS regulations & policies
- Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
- Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and support corrective actions

**Required Qualifications**:

- Technical diploma with related work experience in relevant engineering practice.
- Have quality inspection experience for 2+ years in turbine components
- Ability to use measuring instruments; calipers, dial indicators,etc.
- Ability to read and understand Work Instruction and QMS procedures
- Ability to write technical reports
- Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
- Ability to understand drawing and technical documents

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Previous Power Plant Experience
- Preferred Certified level II NDT in PT (Red Dye)
- Technical / Associate Degree
