We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GIS Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. As the GIS Manager, you will lead our geospatial initiatives, oversee GIS projects, and manage a team of GIS professionals. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, and strategic thinking to drive innovation and efficiency in our geospatial operations.
- Develop and implement GIS strategies aligned with organizational goals
- Manage and mentor a team of GIS professionals, fostering their growth and development
- Coordinate and prioritize GIS projects, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality outputs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate GIS solutions into various business processes
- Establish and maintain geospatial data standards, policies, and best practices
- Conduct advanced spatial analysis and create high-quality cartographic products
- Evaluate and implement new GIS technologies and methodologies to improve efficiency
- Manage budgets and resources for GIS-related activities

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Geographic Information Systems, Geography, Computer Science, or related field; Master's degree preferred
- 10+ years of experience in GIS-related roles, with at least 5 years in a management or leadership position
- Advanced proficiency in GIS software such as ArcGIS and QGIS
- Strong knowledge of spatial analysis, cartography, and geospatial data management
- Expertise in database management systems and SQL
- Familiarity with remote sensing and GPS technologies
- Proven project management skills and experience leading cross-functional teams
- Excellent leadership abilities with a track record of mentoring and developing team members
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- GIS Professional (GISP) certification is a plus
- Knowledge of geospatial data standards and best practices
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Willingness to travel occasionally within Saudi Arabia, as required
