As a Big Data Administration Engineer, you will manage clusters, implement robust security and backup solutions, and troubleshoot complex issues to maintain seamless operations and high availability.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Cluster Management**: Manage and monitor big data clusters across production, staging, test/dev, and disaster recovery (DR) environments.
- **Tool Implementation**: Install, configure, and maintain big data components and tools.
- **Performance Optimization**: Optimize the performance of big data clusters to ensure efficiency and high availability.
- **Data Backup**: Implement and manage reliable data backup solutions to protect critical data.
- **Technical Support**: Provide troubleshooting and support for big data clusters and resolve performance or availability issues.

**Qualifications**
- **Experience**: 7+ years of experience in big data administration, with expertise in managing large-scale environments.
- **Technical Expertise**: Proficiency in Cloudera, Apache Hadoop, and related big data tools.
- **Problem-Solving Skills**: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to handle complex data infrastructure challenges.
- **Communication Skills**: Excellent communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders and providing support.
- **Certifications**: Relevant certifications in big data administration (e.g., Cloudera Administrator, Hortonworks).
- **Education**: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
