**Payroll Specialist**:

Description

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Responsible for calculating employees’ compensation, updating internal payroll databases and ensuring timely deposit of salaries.
- Gather information on hours worked for each employee by generating attendance report through the system.
- Calculate the correct wages monthly incorporating overtime, deductions, leaves, bonuses etc. in coordination with Finance department.
- Receive and implement approved promotions, salary increases, transfer and loans.
- Receive and enters compensation and benefits details in the system for new hired employees.
- Enters termination or resignation and process the calculation of end of service benefits as per government regulations.
- Ensure the satisfaction of employees and superiors by addressing their needs in a courteous and timely manner.
- Ensures that HR practices are being carried out effectively through consulting with other departments to ensure that HR services are being met.
- Maintains all employee records updated on the Wages Protection System (WPS), GOSI, internal system and respective employee files.
- Prepares payroll reports and analysis whenever required by the management.
- Implements appropriate policies and procedures to achieve the Hospital’s goals and objectives in pursuit of Standards of Care, Quality / Performance Improvement.
- Performs other applicable tasks assigned within the level of his/her competence as required by the direct manager and Human Resources Director.

**Necessary Knowledge and Experience**:
2- 3 years of experience in HR or related field.

**Education and Certification Requirements**:
**Essential**:Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Finance / Accountancy, or any related field.

**Desirable**: SOCPA certified.
