The opportunity

The role is in place to ensure a thorough understanding of their objectives and develop property-specific operating strategies that achieve the required standards.

They must be responsible for managing several operational contracts on behalf of the client, overseeing the implementation of all approved initiatives and programs, by managing and coordinating the efforts of the FM team (e.g., direct reports, service providers, contractors, and building employees) to achieve the goals.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Developing and implementing comprehensive hygiene protocols, policies, and guidelines.
- Training and educating staff members on proper hygiene practices.
- Overseeing the maintenance of cleanliness in public areas, restrooms, and other facilities.
- Coordinating regular disinfection schedules and activities.
- Staying updated on new disinfection techniques and products.
- Collaborating with relevant departments to address any specific disinfection requirements.
- Managing and maintaining watering systems for plants, gardens, or outdoor areas.
- Ensuring proper irrigation and watering schedules.
- Monitoring water quality and implementing necessary treatments.
- Overseeing the provision of supportive services, such as laundry, waste management, and pest control.
- Monitoring service quality and addressing any issues or complaints.
- Collaborating with vendors or contractors to ensure timely and effective service provision.
- Leading a team of staff members responsible for hygiene, disinfection, watering, and supportive services.
- Maintaining records of hygiene inspections, disinfection activities, and watering schedules.
- Preparing reports on compliance, performance, and improvements.
- Analyzing data and identifying areas for enhancement.
- Communicating findings and recommendations to the appropriate stakeholders.

About you

You have a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. You have a previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare facility, hospitality industry, or large organization. You have a strong knowledge of hygiene practices, disinfection procedures, and watering systems. You must be an Arabic speaker and a practicing Muslim, due to the project of this position.

You are digitally savvy, can build lasting client relationships and lead strong, motivated teams. You will have a construction or project management background and be hungry to grow your career and enjoy the opportunities Mace has to offer.
