As the Design Performance Assurance Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the design and implementation of sustainability performance targets throughout design development stages according to sustainability rating standards and rationalized values. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including procurement, research and innovation, codes and standards, to ensure that the projects meet or exceed sustainability goals and standards. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing sustainability performance compliance plans and monitoring performance metrics to ensure that our projects are environmentally responsible and sustainable.

**What You’ll Be Doing**
- Develop and implement sustainability performance assurance plans according to National SDGs, SBC, Mostadam, LEED, and WELL.
- Monitor and track sustainability performance metrics, including energy efficiency, water usage, livable indoors environments, and waste reduction.
- Identify and troubleshoot sustainability performance issues, working with cross-functional teams to implement solutions.
- Enables sustainability construction activities through tools development in design stage. - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and technologies related to sustainability performance assurance.
- Understand various Sustainability rating systems alignment with SDGs.
- Strong drawings, specification, and other technical documentation review capabilities.
- Preparing reports and presentations to communicate analysis findings and recommendations.
- Ensure technical reviews and compliance of design engineering with controls to maintain and improve high quality deliverables to our clients.
- Ensure that project plans are in place for all jobs within two weeks of project authorization. This is to result in better-planned projects and improved project team understanding of milestones, budget, and deliverables.
- Target meeting or exceeding client expectation. Where non-compliance exists, ensure corrective action implementation occurs.

**What Required Skills You’ll Bring**
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with extensive design and construction experience. 10+ years of Design and Construction Middle East Experience and Program Delivery experience.
- Certified LEED AP with previous completed projects.
- Certified WELL AP, City Climate Planner Urban GHG Inventory Specialist, and Certified Energy Manager.

**What Desired Skills You’ll Bring**
- Shall have outstanding client relationship building skills and shall possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Thorough knowledge of contractual matters and project control is a must for this position. Strong understanding of sustainability performance methodologies and tools (e.g. LEED, WELL, Mostadam)
- Experience with LEED and other sustainability certification processes
- Strong understanding of ASHRAE Standards
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Shall be experienced in writing technical reports and shall be capable of effectively communicating the project requirements to personnel involved in the project execution.
- Should be able to implement the Quality Management System on his projects effectively and should have prior experience with approvals from different Government/Regulatory bodies for the Project Execution.
- Shall be capable of working with different agencies/departments like client, contractor, construction department, etc.
