**Role summary / Purpose**:
This position is responsible for enhancing the service quality and equipment reliability by improving workflows and optimizing maintenance processes. He/ she is expected to help minimize downtime and failure rates and maximize equipment productivity.

**Essential responsibilities**:

- Identify and capture opportunities for improvement in equipment maintainability and reliability.
- Design maintenance strategies, procedures, and methods.
- Diagnose breakdown problems
- Carry out routine scheduled maintenance work and responding to equipment faults.
- Deal with emergencies, unplanned problems, and repairs.
- Improve health and safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in technical audits and compliance assessments and follow up on closure of remedial action plans.
- Can function as field engineer when needed.
- Always ensure compliance with the TGT code of conduct and HSE regulations. (Adhere to all safety regulations).
- Provide technical input to plan and schedule the safe and efficient system mobilizations.
- Demonstrate personal commitment to Health, Safety, Environment and Quality.

**Qualifications / Requirements**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized institute or university, preferably in Electronics Engineering. Industry required certifications kept up to date
- 4+ years’ experience in the oil industry as a Maintenance Engineer / Supervisor is preferred.
- Ability to fulfil essential responsibilities without supervision
- Aptitude for hands-on work coupled with strong analytical skills and hands on experience.
- Ability to fulfil essential responsibilities without supervision
- Self-motivation in performing tasks assigned
- Willingness and ability to travel
