Colonial Chemical ME is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. In this role, the applicant will report to the Maintenance Manager

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform maintenance repairs and/or troubleshooting on rotating and fixed equipment (pumps, blowers, compressors, piping, valves, heat exchangers, hydraulic systems, boilers, steam systems, pressure vessels, storage tanks, air compressor).
- Perform repairs for mechanical equipment (ex. replacing motors, changing motor bearings, replacing a valve, etc.).
- Plan preventive maintenance of chemical plant machinery, including but not limited to replacement of mechanical seals in all pumps, de-sludging boilers and cooling towers, fitting of bearings, aligning gears and shafts, connecting couplings and belts to precise tolerances.
- Perform equipment calibrations such as (pressure gauge, temperature gauge, vacuum gauge, maintenance equipment, weighing scale, weigh bridge).
- Carry out alignment of pumps, compressor, agitators and all kind of rotating parts with dial gauge, measure alignment and follow good engineering practices and OEM requirements.
- Write, review and follow all standard operating and maintenance procedures and job plans.
- Perform other tasks as assigned (ex. painting, plant housekeeping, etc.).
- Stay overtime to support emergency repairs or complete a scheduled assigned task
- Maintain history card of all equipment (reactors, storage tanks, pumps, motors, gear box, agitators, compressor, steam boiler, thermic fluid heaters, weigh bridge etc.).
- Maintenance of sprinkler system of garden and to take care of routine maintenance.
- Actively participate in all plant related Health, Safety, Environmental and Security training, policies and programs
