Summary
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Middle School Math Teacher, who will be a key member of the department and will be responsible for delivering the MS curriculum.
Job Duties
- Demonstrate a commitment to the safety and security of children and young people (child protection)
- Plan and deliver lessons in accordance with the goals and objectives of a clearly defined and documented curriculum
- Deliver an active, hands-on, and student-centered program to promote learning in mathematics courses
- Maintain student’s attendance records, grades, and other required records
- Maintain a safe learning environment for students at all times
- Assist students who need extra help with their coursework outside of class
- Observe, monitor, and record student progress
- Respond appropriately to the range of individual needs and abilities within the class
- Collaborate with colleagues

Qualifications and Knowledge
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in a related field of study
Experience and Skills
**Experience**
- Prior experience as a math teacher (preferred)
- Experience teaching conceptual math
- Experience with Google Suite or Microsoft Office
- Deliver a program according to the precepts of the Common Core Standards, but within an international context
**Skills**
- Sound knowledge of mathematics for middle school level
- Excellent command of English, both written and oral
- Highly-developed classroom management skill
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Maturity to handle a range of situations
- Loyalty and a high level of confidentiality
