Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, and hardware.
- Monitor system performance and ensure security and efficiency of IT infrastructure.
- Manage network servers and technology tools.
- Set up accounts and workstations.
- Troubleshoot issues and outages.
- Perform regular backups and ensure data security.
- Upgrade systems with new releases and models.
- Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies.
- Build an internal wiki with technical documentation, manuals, and IT policies.
- Monitor the performance of network and computer systems.
- Manage and configure virtualization and cloud-based services.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and security protocols.
**Requirements**:
- Proven experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of system and network administration.
- Experience with databases, networks (LAN, WAN), and patch management.
- Knowledge of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery.
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms.
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (preferred).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, Red Hat Certified System Administrator) are a plus.
