**DUTIES **AND** **RESPONSIBILITIES**

Plan, budget, organize, and control a segment of the mechanical engineering deliverables;
Prepare p mechanical deliverables and ensure that they conform to all applicable engineering codes and standards as well as the Client’s policies and procedures;
Assist in the coordination of all activities related to mechanical design;
Provide sound technical advice and solutions to a diversity of technical problems within the discipline;
Co-ordinate with other disciplines during all stages of design development, construction, pre-commissioning, and start-up;
Identify any areas of concern with respect to progress and/or quality and recommend corrective actions as required;
Undertake site visits and surveys as required, to gather information and resolve project related issue

**QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**

Minimum of Bachelor Degree or higher qualification in mechanical or related engineering discipline from a reputable college or university;
Minimum of 8 years’ proven work experience;
Experience in delivering design of major infrastructure projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia or the wider MENA region;
**PHYSICAL AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS**

Must be in good health, physically fit & active;
Must have good analytical skills, interpersonal skills and team-working skills;
Must have well-developed planning and organizing skills;
Good knowledge of the fundamental requirements of the mechanical engineering;
Good knowledge of International Codes & Standards like API, ANSI/ASME, TEMA, ASTM, ISO, BS, etc. and also familiar with ASME Sec. VIII Div.1, API 660, API 650, TEMA standard;
Good knowledge of mechanical engineering software such as PVElite, tank. etc.;
