Junior Legal Counsel

Select how often (in days) to receive an alert: The Junior Legal Counsel will report to the Head of Legal KSA. **Objective**: - Legal support to activities within KSA; - Legal support to the Head of Legal KSA in contract drafting, company secretariat and corporate work, monitor and interpretation of the local regulation relevant to the Engie businesses in the Kingdom; - Ensure compliance with the Engie Ethics Code of Conduct and policies. **Responsibilities**: - Provide legal support in corporate related matters and secretariat work. - Analysis and monitoring of the KSA regulations in the energy sector with focus on permitting and licensing. - Assist in the drafting and negotiation of MoU, NdA, partnership agreements, service contracts. - Contribute to the development and improvement of internal processes and procedures in KSA and ensure ENGIE interests are safeguarded. - Contribute to the implementation and use of the document management system and contracts digitalization. - Encourage a culture of compliance with laws, ethics and integrity in the Group. - Control the use, quality and cost of external legal counsels. **Key Relationships**: Main Internal Interfaces: - KSA Head of Legal - KSA BD for Energy Services External Interfaces: - International and Local Counsels - ENGIE companies, assets and projects **Qualifications**: - Law Degree from a reputable university. **Experience**: - 2+ years of legal experience. - Large law firm experience preferred, large corporate practice also valued. - Experience of corporate work and contractual review and drafting. **Language**: - Arabic Mother Tongue. - Fluent in English. **Knowledge and Skills**: - Ability to provide sound and business-oriented legal advice. - Ability to deal with complexity. - Knowledge of the local market/stakeholders. - Organizational skills. - Ability to work within a team of members from varying cultural backgrounds as well as with counterparts of varying cultural backgrounds. - Ability to maintain high levels of focused drive and energy, giving above what is required to get the job done. - Professional and ethical. - Attention to details. **Business Understanding**: - Energy regulatory framework. - Group’s strategy vision. - Group’s governance and ethical rules. **Location/Travel**: - Flexibility to travel from/to the UAE and throughout the Kingdom. **Field**: Legal Job **Level**: Without management **Employee Status**: Permanent **Schedule**: Full-time **Primary Location**: KSA Business Unit: T&G Division: T&G AMEA - KSA Contract Type: Permanent **Job Type**: Full-Time Professional Experience: Junior (experience < 3 years) J-18808-Ljbffr
