We are searching for a dynamic
**Business Development Manager** to unlock opportunity for sales growth in the
**Saudi Arabia and Bahrain** regions. Through market mapping, project discovery and effective stakeholder engagement, the Business Development Manager will build the pipeline of projects and specification utilising our technical fabrics.
This role will utilise our unique customer value proposition to ensure our market leading shade fabric and agricultural knitted solutions are front of mind for decision makers in business and project management.
**Reporting to the General Manager MENA**, you will work within a supportive and knowledgeable team of Sales, Logistics and Corporate professionals. The
**GALE Pacific FZE** entity has been established for over 18 years and has built a reputation on quality and service to our customers, you could join this team for the next phase in our growth story.
Key deliverables and accountabilities:
- Investigate and ‘map’ potential new opportunities for specification through architects, project designers, fabricators and installers within our portfolio
- Pursue growth opportunities and maintain the ‘Growth Pipeline’ updating and communicating progress
- Understand the region’s distribution network of technical fabrics and build strategic plan to diversify our market share
- Develop business cases for target customers, scope of opportunity and planning to execute conversion
- Accurately manage the regions forecasting activities and contribute to MENA reporting requirements
- Collaboratively pursue opportunities ensuring a seamless customer experience from initial contact through project delivery
- Actively participate with idea generation for new product development & new industries to expand into; continually hunt for new opportunities.
- Collaborate and contribute to the mapping of potential new markets for new products under development
- Identify, attend & represent GALE Pacific at relevant Trade Shows, Expos and Industry Functions
- Management and implementation of Marketing Collateral, such as swatches, POS, Brochures to all key and major customers
- Completed studies in Business/Commerce/Marketing
- Proven experience in Business Development role, preferably in têxtiles or building materials
- Specification or technical sales experience
- Self-driven with motivation to seek out opportunities and think innovatively
- Strong decision-making skills and personal accountability for business outcomes
- Excellent ability to build relationships and understand external customer requirements
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to quickly develop rapport and trust with key stakeholders
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office
