**Business Line specific context**:

- The Senior Operations Manager Water Management will be responsible for the Operations and Maintenance activities for the entire project, including the oversight and management of all service providers conducting O&M activities, managing the TSE and irrigation networks, pump stations, controllers, IMMS systems, SMART metering etc. You will be able to discuss and influence design and construction activities whilst managing the irrigation water distribution network throughout our clients programs.- You will be the custodian of all matter related to water management for the clients programs. including data collection and management, advice and guidance, reporting, policies and procedures, statutory compliance, presentations etc.- You will be responsible for planning, organising, directing and evaluating all operations and maintenance functions of the water department.- You will be responsible for all administrative functions related to the water management operations and maintenance functions.**Job description**:

- Advise and support all Client related activities on all matters related to water management and operational activities for the TSE and Irrigation systems and networks for the Operations and Maintenance activities.
- Design and construction advice and influence.
- Development of policies and procedures for water management, operations and maintenance.
- Preparation and development of technical specifications, RFP’s, SoW, BoQ’s and pricing schedules, Budgeting, KPIs and SLAs for performance management of the Water Management Operations and Maintenance (aligned to statutory requirements for operations and maintenance), including Civils, Water and irrigation, utilities networks, SMART management, equipment scheduling etc.
- Support and review the design guidelines for Water & TSE networks.
- Evaluation of tenders, prepare tender reports and recommendations, and selection of Operations and Maintenance specialist Service Providers.
- Operations and Maintenance of Storage Tanks, Reservoirs, Pumping Stations & Transmission and Distribution systems and pipelines, deep bore wells pumps and systems, valve chambers, air valves, washouts, isolation, interconnections, etc.
- Review of Technical Design Reports (Irrigation, Water Demand, Pipe Sizing Calculations, Hydraulic Calculations, review of Pipe Material, Technical Specifications, etc.).
- Manage the environmental impact of water networks, systems and equipment to ensure that it is compatible with Riyahd’s urban environment and statutory requirements.
- Work with design organisations, both internal and external, to secure delivery and approved TSE/Irrigation project design.
- identify areas for improvement and innovation, and take action accordingly to implement, once approved.
- Manage and create all HSE requirements for Water Management, including the creation and management of a risk register, auditing and compliance checking, observations reporting, and performance management of all service providers.
- Manage the liaison with numerous TSE, Irrigation stakeholders including clients, municipalities, government agencies and work teams.
- Work closely and collaboratively with the WMO on all water management activities.
- Perform all other related duties as requested.
- You will be responsible for the administrative functions for all water management functions Including: water management operations safety programs, Service Providers scheduling, setting and enforcing performance standards and enforcing performance evaluation and related documentation, compliance with water sampling schedules and standards, evaluation and approval of PPMs and reactive maintenance, capital improvement plans and other programs as required.

**Profile**:

- Master’s or bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in civil engineering or relevenat major.
- 10+ years of extensive experience with management operations and maintenance including TSE and Irrigation Networks, Pump Stations, Controllers, IMMS Systems, SMART Metering, Landscaping (hard and soft), Wadis and Wells, etc.
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience of DCP Operations and Maintenance.
- Strong Operations and Maintenance skills, with the ability to oversee and manage the delivery of the O&M activities.
- Effective team player, able to interact and contribute to all team activities.
- Ability to motivate others and achieve results through direct reports and external suppliers (Internal as well as external third-party sub-consultants).
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify innovation opportunities and mobilize resources and expertise to capitalize on them.
- Experience interpreting and understanding local rules, regulations, and operational guide
