**JOB SUMMARY**

**Job Purpose & Responsibilities**
- Provide technical research and analytical solutions in enhancing
- competitiveness and sustainability by understanding and exploiting research at the gas chromatography and advance characterization mass spectrometry (GC HPLC GC-MS UV IR MS SCD NCD)
- as well as understanding BU's and manufacturing analysis needs.
- Develop, validate, and document analytical methods and operating procedures according to specific sample or testing requirements.
- Performing analysis in gas chromatography, dissolution testing, and other associated techniques include analytical method development, method validation, method transfers, and method verifications.
- Develop & manage external networks, technical partnerships, talent pipeline and succession research plan.
- Manage a team of data scientists, instrument-learning analysis, collection procedures, ensure data quality, integrity, Interpret and analyze data problems.
- Perform analytical research focused on chemical, polymers, gases, additives, catalysts, solvents, petrochemicals and etc.
- Ensure that laboratory data and results are of excellent quality and integrated with the theoretical, modeling and field components of related T&I research and manufacturing groups efforts.

**MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS**
- Ph.D. /Master Degree in analytical chemistry, environmental science or closely related field with strong fundamental knowledge of organic analytical chemistry, gas chromatography and mass spectrometry.
- Minimum of 10+ years of working experience in analytical characterization GCMS or GCMSMS methods development research with a strong background at analytical chemistry.
