Operation Manager

Requirement:

- has work experience in manufacturing company (oil&gas industry)
- understanding ISO and API certification

**PURPOSE**: Provide leadership and guidance to a team of Leaders, Specialists, Machinists, Welders and Assembly and Test operators in managing machining, welding and Assembly and Test functions and execution of production plan. Ensures manufacturing processes and work-flow meet safety, health, process and product quality requirements. Strives for operational efficiency and effectiveness through manufacturing improvement programs, quality transformation, lean methodology, new and relevant manufacturing concepts, and advanced manufacturing technology.

Key responsibilities:

- Forecast production requirements to achieve production targets.
- Minimize ‘throughput time’ and ‘work in process inventory’ using Planning and Scheduling tool.
- Optimize resources to meet manufacturing KPIs, and customers’ delivery in accordance to planned schedule and customer requirements.
- Reduce cost of non-quality through periodic analysis of non-conformance, effective root cause analysis and prevention actions
- Motivate and building team spirit among the technicians and leaders to boost employee productivity and morale
- Initiate work safety programs to drive toward zero incident at the workplace
- Drive cost reduction initiatives to meet business challenges

**ENTRY QUALIFICATIONS**:
**Basic Minimum Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Technical Field.
- At least 5 years working experience in oil and gas or related manufacturing field.
- Preferably specialize in Manufacturing/Production Operations, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Possess strong supervisory and people management skills.
- Strong advocate of continuous improvement and adopting innovative solutions to drive business objectives.
- Demonstrated high level of leadership, effective communication, interpersonal skills, and abilities to influence, persuade, motivate and interface with both internal and external people at all levels.
- Hands on experience in leading, developing and managing teams in a high mix low volume manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of basic cost accounting and financial background for manufacturing environment, budget planning, capex preparation cost control experience.
- Basic knowledge of Quality and HSE.

- Possess good understanding of the following:

- Understanding of a wide range of manufacturing processes
- Understanding of inspection processes including NDE
- Understanding of drawings and specifications
- Understanding of quality and process control procedures including audits
