As a Solutions Architect, you will own the technical relationship with AWS GameTech customers, providing expert guidance on security, cost optimisation, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency. By working backwards from their business needs, you’ll offer strategic advice to help them unlock business value through technology. This role involves close collaboration with business development, account management, professional services, support, product teams, and the AWS partner ecosystem.
Key job responsibilities
- Collaborate with the broader Industry Specialist team to shape the strategic plan and drive cloud adoption for GameTech customers.
- Design and deliver innovative technical solutions to engage and inspire customers and partners.
- Build technical credibility and trust during sales cycles, engaging directly with CTOs, CIOs, Chief Architects, and Senior Developers across the Gaming industry.
- Work with AWS service teams and partners to deploy, pilot, and scale game-focused solutions, collaborating with sales enablement, regional business development, and account teams.
- Lead customer briefings, represent AWS Game Tech at industry events, and advance thought leadership in gaming technology solutions.
- Educate customers on the benefits of AWS, engaging in in-depth architectural discussions to ensure their solutions are optimised for successful cloud deployment.
- Deliver training sessions, both one-to-one and group formats, to share knowledge with customers exploring or already using AWS.
- Capture and share best practices within the AWS Solutions Architect community to foster continuous learning and improvement.
