We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to oversee operations in our metal fabrication shop. The Production Manager will be responsible for coordinating and optimizing daily production activities, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. This role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of metal fabrication processes and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Production Planning & Management

Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands and delivery deadlines.

Allocate resources effectively, including manpower, machinery, and materials.

Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and adherence to timelines.
- Quality Control

Establish and enforce quality standards and inspection procedures.

Identify and address quality issues promptly to minimize rework and waste.

Collaborate with the quality assurance team to drive continuous improvement.
- Team Leadership & Development

Supervise and mentor production staff, including machine operators, welders, and assembly workers.
- Safety & Compliance

Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the workplace.

Implement corrective actions to address any safety concerns or incidents.
- Inventory & Supply Chain Management

Monitor inventory levels of raw materials and finished products.

Coordinate with suppliers to maintain an uninterrupted flow of materials.

Minimize waste and optimize inventory costs.
- Process Improvement

Analyze production workflows to identify opportunities for efficiency gains.

Implement lean manufacturing principles and other process improvements.

Utilize data and metrics to track and enhance operational performance.

Qualifications:
degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience as a Production Manager in a metal fabrication or manufacturing environment.

Strong knowledge of metalworking processes, including welding, machining, and assembly.

Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
