GALE Pacific, an established Australian specialty têxtiles manufacturer, is seeking an experienced **Business Development Manager** to join our expanding team in Saudi Arabia - this role can be based in Jeddah or Riyadh. Reporting directly to the General Manager - MENA, you will focus on driving growth and enhancing relationships within the region, working within the supply of building materials.

You will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities and uncovering new projects that align with GALE’s strategic growth objectives. With a focus on increasing the company’s footprint across the region, you will build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, drive market penetration, and identify innovative solutions to position the company for long-term success.

**The role**:

- Develop and manage a robust project pipeline
- Create and maintain a market map of key stakeholders
- Establish strong relationships with external decision makers
- Maximize product range and profitability across key accounts
- Monitor and manage pricing strategies
- Represent the company at trade shows, expos, and industry events
- Manage regional budgets, sales targets, credit receivables, and stock forecasts
- Actively pursue new business opportunities and expand the company’s market share
- Provide regular sales and business development reports
- Develop and execute BD key clients and non-GALE fabricators/installers in the region
- Participate in product development initiatives and new product launches in collaboration with R&D and marketing teams
- Extensive experience in Sales and Business Development, ideally within the building materials industry
- Experience in the Saudi Arabian market is essential
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Office
- Valid Driver's License
- Specification or technical sales experience is highly regarded
- Industrial fabrics industry experience is a plus, but not required
