The Role
Lead the Contracts Department for the MEP division, ensuring best practices in contract administration and management. Oversee and advise on all contractual matters across multiple projects in KSA and UAE. Develop and implement contract management strategies aligned with company objectives. Provide expert guidance on risk management, claims, variations, and dispute resolution. Manage the drafting, review, and negotiation of contracts in line with FIDIC and other industry-standard forms. Work closely with project teams, commercial managers, and senior leadership to drive contract compliance and performance. Ensure proper documentation, reporting, and governance for all contractual activities. Build and mentor a high-performing team, fostering professional development and knowledge sharing.
**Requirements**:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BE Mechanical). Minimum 20 years of experience in Contracts Management, specifically within MEP projects. Proven track record of managing contracts across large-scale projects in the GCC region. Strong working knowledge of FIDIC and other standard contract forms. Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Expertise in risk management, claims, and dispute resolution. Ability to lead cross-functional teams and make strategic contract decisions.
