Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Environmental and Sustainability Engineer **to join our team on Qiddiya This is an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of one of the most transformative projects in Saudi Arabia's history, a visionary giga-project that aims to create a world-class entertainment, sports, and cultural destination.

**What You'll Be Doing**:

- Prepare technical studies, reports, plans, narratives and supporting documentation.
- Analyze and evaluate primary and secondary sustainability and environmental information.
- Provide technical guidance to Project teams during planning, design development, tendering and construction supervision to enable achievement of Project sustainability and environmental goals and targets and to secure Project permits.
- Assist with all aspects of registration to enable projects to obtain required licenses / permits/ approvals from clients, authorities or certifying bodies.
- Prepare scopes of work, task orders and evaluations for procurement of consultants.
- Assist with managing performance of consultants as required.
- Review deliverables prepared by consultants and contractors for accuracy and quality.
- Respond to RFIs and other technical queries and coordinate with stakeholders to obtain information as required.
- Conduct design and construction audits and site inspections and monitor Project compliance against requirements, and to monitor implementation of corrective actions.
- Coordinate and participate in meetings with Client, environmental agencies, consultants and contractors.
- Prepare meeting minutes, progress reports and presentations; deliver presentations.
- Prepare and deliver training to Project teams.

**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:

- Bachelors degree in environmental science, engineering or related natural sciences discipline from a recognized university. Masters degree preferred.
- Work experience in the fields of environmental engineering or science with a civil engineering or environmental consultancy.
- Excellent verbal communication skills in the English language.
- Detail-oriented and thorough, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attentive to quality and capable of producing high quality deliverables.
- Capable of working independently to research, analyze and accurately solve technical problems.
- Experience working in a team environment to provide technical environmental input.
