Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Business Manager **to join our team In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the project organization. He/She will manage a team of employees and may also be tasked with developing new products, services, or processes to help grow the business.
**What You'll Be Doing**:
- Managing a team of employees including training, scheduling, and evaluating performance
- Providing leadership to the department by setting an example for other employees through work ethic, communication skills, and professionalism
- Conducting performance reviews, recommending promotions and raises, and terminating employment when necessary.
- Analysing financial data using accounting software to identify trends or problems with company operations
- Reviewing financial reports to assess business performance and make recommendations for improvement
- Maintaining relationships with vendors, clients, and other contacts in order to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Managing budgets by monitoring spending and initiating cost-cutting measures when necessary
- Creating long-term goals for the department based on company objectives, requirements of industry standards, and customer needs.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring**:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or closely related major with m inimum of twelve (12) years project controls/contract administration experience including at least three years devoted to petrochemical, oil, gas, or power generation projects.
- For non-engineers, minimum of fifteen (15) years project controls/contract administration experience is required.
**What Desired Skills You'll Bring**:
- Must be familiar with construction practices and materials, equipment.
- Must have ability to communicate fluently in both spoken and written English.
