AlUla Club is looking for a skilled and experienced Data Engineer to join our team. As a Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in managing and analyzing the vast amount of data generated by our sports club. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and databases to support our data-driven initiatives. Additionally, you will work closely with other teams, such as data analysts and data scientists, to ensure the accuracy and availability of data for analysis and decision-making.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and implement data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Build and maintain scalable and efficient databases to store and manage large volumes of data.
- Collaborate with data analysts and data scientists to understand their data requirements and provide them with the necessary data sources.
- Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing data validation and cleansing processes.
- Optimize and tune database performance to ensure fast and efficient data retrieval.
- Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and databases to identify and resolve issues.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and implement best practices.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Data Engineer or similar role.
- Strong programming skills in languages like Python, SQL, and Java.
- Experience with designing and implementing data pipelines using tools like Apache Spark or Apache Kafka.
- Proficient in working with relational and NoSQL databases, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and services, such as AWS or Azure, for data storage and processing.
- Understanding of data modeling and database design principles.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Passion for sports and knowledge of sports data is a plus.
