Professional Data Analysis has become an integral part of the Civil Engineering Industry due to the increasing demands on modern and accurate reporting at all levels.

Based in the overall Program Management Team of the Yanbu Industrial City Program, Parsons SAPL have been successfully developing its overall capability in this space and as part of this development we are looking to introduce a **DATA ANALYST **into the Health and Safety Team.

Reporting to the Safety Unit Manager the principle objective of the role is to capture accurate and integral data and to further demonstrate the analysis by reporting to the overall Program and its primary functions / personnel.

Accuracy and integrity of data is of the upmost importance as well as the overall visualization of reported data.

Furthermore we seek an individual with the capability to work with the existing team in looking at / analyzing the existing reporting capability and functionality and to suggest / develop / implement modernized reporting systems including smartphone technology.

Key Activities in this role will include but are not limited to:

- Develop IT systems and tools for HSE data capture and reporting within Power BI and other systems.
- Provide support on analyzing Safety Observation reports, Audits, HSE Metrics, Enforcement actions etc.
- Working closely with respective Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather, maintain and analyze data and set up automated reports.
- Collect and analyze quantitative and qualitative data against Key Risk Indicators and program specific benchmarks.
- Assist respective SMEs to make predictions and recommendations based on collected and analyzed information.
- Ratify various HSE data sets to ensure the integrity and completeness of all documents.
- Assist respective SMEs to compose various technical memorandums and reports
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations including creating charts and tables etc.

We seek applicants with the following credentials.
- Must hold a bachelor's degree qualification in computer science / business administration or similar.
- Must have a minimum of 4 years professional, post-graduate experience in programming and maintaining data and dashboards using Power BI and other similar software models.

Other key qualities sought for this role include:

- Familiarity with data mining, ability to develop and manipulate, and maintain databases.
- Demonstrated experience using software used for advanced statistical analysis and tools for data visualization.
- Ability to identify systems enhancements and new capabilities, concept demonstrators, capability business cases.
- Ability to provide training as new systems and capabilities move into operational use.
- Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Written and Spoken English fluency is a MUST.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Outlook, Advanced Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment.
- Energetic self-starter who is flexible, organized, conscientious and proactive.
