Outreach and Partnerships Manager

Merced Venture Capital is looking for a bright, enthusiastic Outreach and Partnerships Manager who is full of ideas and contacts to help us with commercial and strategic relationships with our limited partners and portfolio companies and work with our investment team to identify potential investments.
**Responsibilities**
- Create a systematic, process-driven approach to partner outreach and relationship management
- Research partners, identify key players and generate interest
- Collaborate with senior management and other marketing teammates to align our internal goals with new and existing partner relationships
- Define the overall market approach; this includes market segmentation, priority verticals and compelling value propositions that will address the current needs of each industry that we wish to focus on
- Plan and manage marketing activities within budgetary guidelines and deadlines.
- Work with partners to develop joint marketing plans based on market trends and competitors.
- Develop partner presentations and provide product training to partners.
- Maintain positive and productive relationship with partners.
- Support partner events and manage partner marketing communications.
- Evaluate the marketing performance of partners and recommend improvements.
**Qualifications**
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business, technology, or any related field
- Experience working in the U.S., Europe, or Asia preferred
- 3 years working experience in partnerships with startups, VC Funds, accelerator programs or related business development or strategy function
- Demonstrated experience working with cross functional teams
- Self-starter, fast learner with a can-do spirit and an entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
- Keen to work in a fast-paced environment
- Analytical mindset and strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in English and Arabic
