Our Client, a Leading Multinational FMCG organisation are seeking to hire a HR Manager to take charge of the organisation’s Talent development, drive the corporate health agenda and increase employee engagement.
**Responsibilities**:
- Plan & Design annual HR initiatives to support the Company’s strategic objectives.
- Deliver all 4 quadrants of HR - Serve as an employee advocate, functional expert, change agent and business partner.
- Represent HR function with G&A functions leadership team engaging on strategic direction for facility and management of strategic direction, profitability, and performance goals.
- Lead and support OHS, D&E and G&A functions.
- Manage the internal communications processes.
- Coordinating the implementation of performance management initiatives as well as OD programmes as appropriate.
- Develop and maintain positive employee relations to create strong employee engagement.
- Facilitate a productive, safe work environment and an exciting and rewarding place to work.
- Identify and coordinate the execution of corporate training strategy at all levels.
- Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster a positive attitude toward company goals.
- Ensure sound industrial relations are built and maintained by facilitating the resolution of disputes, negotiating with the employees at plant level, chairing employees’ meetings, and ensuring substantive & procedural fairness in disciplinary matters.
- Representing the Company at different Government forums and ensuring adherence to agreements and procedures.
- Serve as liaison with the Company Attorneys as deemed appropriate.
- Project management of HR programmes, key initiatives and other exercises occurring on an ad-hoc basis.
- Provide timely advice to G&A management regarding people management issues.
- Provide accurate case law advice to line management on grievance and disciplinary matters.
- Create responsible strategies to deal with HR dispute issues and make decisions that align with the long-term interest of the Company.
- Provide guidance and specialist input on recruitment matters and driving down ongoing costs.
- In conjunction with G&A Management decide on development and promotional opportunities for staff.
**Requirements**:
- A Bachelors/Master’s degree in Human Resource Management is essential.
- Further HR professional training would be a distinctive advantage.
- Experience in delivering appropriate interventions given identification of potential operational people issues.
- Ideally an assertive individual with strong interpersonal and persuasive skills, attention to detail, intellectual curiosity and Computer literacy.
