The Project is a high-end hospitality development located in an island which is currently connected to mainland by a temporary causeway, comprising of ultra-luxury resort buildings, high-end serviced villas, golf club, Yacht-club, and other facilities. The project will be a unique year-round tourist destination offering visitors the opportunity to experience nature, undertake recreational activities and enjoy the regional health and wellness facilities. The Island presents one of the geological icons of the area, leveraging on its exceptional marine characteristics and beauty. The project is part of a wider masterplan which will be powered by 100% renewable energy. You will have solid experience working with consultants delivering post-contract supervision services for significant hospitality projects in the region (preferable KSA and UAE). You will take ownership and have a strong understanding of dealing with the risks and mitigations measures during the course of construction of a project of similar nature. You'll need a flair for collaboration and forming robust relationships with multiple stakeholders including the Client, Contractor and will be a pivotal part in ensuring the successful completion of this highly time-critical job. You will be located on site in Saudi Arabia’s North-Western region and can enjoy all the benefits of working in a remote location including periodic travel, breaks and being a part of one of the iconic developments which is going to face-lift Saudi Arabia. - Ensure that the Façade, Façade Access, BMU and Façade Structural Works are carried out in accordance with the requirements of the Contract documents and in compliance with the Design Intent / Basis of Design. - Monitor the progress of the work on a particular section of the Contract and advise the inspection team of any possible delay or issues. - Coordinate with other disciplines for the works. - Review and comment the Designs / IFCs submitted by the Designers. - Review and comment on the Constructability aspects of the Designs - Undertake and participate in the Value Engineering Processes. - Provide technical assistance for the preparation of monthly progress reports, financial forecasts, Engineer’s Recommendation. - Provide technical recommendation on contractual matters including but not limited to claims, variations, extension of times (EOTs), substantial completion and readiness of Taking Over etc. - Comment on contractor’s proposals for modifications to the permanent works. - Attend meetings on matters related to technical, coordination, quality and safety. - Prepare and maintain Weekly Reports of works undertaken in project(s) assigned. - Participate in the Audits (internal and external) as directed by Jacobs and/or the Client. - Evaluate and manage the Supply Chain to mitigate any delays /issues that might arise. - Review and return the shop drawings, site daily dairy, TQ's / RFI's, Material Submittal, Method statement etc. prepared by the Contractor. - Prepare / Review and manage the non-conformances notices and site inspection notices. - Inspect and return the daily notice of inspections both onsite and offsite (provided the location is within the reasonable limits of the project site). - Undertake any offsite inspections / factory visits which require international travel, upon the receiving the written approval from the Client. - Deal with any other duties that may be assigned from time to time by the Resident Engineer or the Construction Director. - Monitor Contractor’s compliance of Health, Safety and Environmental (HS&E) aspects as per approved HSE Plans. - Ensure that the quality
