The Opportunity:

We are seeking a Senior Procurement Manager to ensure our company's requirements for external goods and services are met at the lowest total cost of ownership, while maintaining all quality and service standards. This role will deliver an efficient, effective, and professionally managed procurement function that balances financial control with streamlined transaction execution, providing a high level of service at a competitive cost.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee procurement activities to fulfill the company's needs for goods and services.
  • Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals, ensuring successful execution of procurement strategies.
  • Manage annual spend exceeding SR 3 billion
  • Drive initiatives for cost reduction, supplier evaluation, and supplier development.
  • Utilize purchasing systems (SAP, BaaN, Oracle, JD Edwards, etc.) to manage procurement processes.
  • Develop global sourcing strategies for industrial commodities, particularly within FMCG, industrial manufacturing, or EPC contracting sectors.

 Candidates without the following will not be considered.

  • Minimum 15+ years of progressive experience, including at least 5–7 years in a managerial/leadership role.
  • Expertise in process mapping and process improvement is essential.
  • At least 7 years of managerial experience within a procurement function.
  • Experience in indirect materials, CAPEX, and OPEX.
  • Preferably from a multinational company, ideally within FMCG manufacturing, construction, or consultancy sectors.
  • Experience managing diverse procurement needs and sources of supply, with responsibility for a team of at least four subordinates.
  • Proven track record in cost reduction and supplier development.
  • Broad knowledge of industrial commodities sourcing within similar industries is preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in business or technical discipline, preferably in purchasing, supply chain, or materials management—or equivalent experience.
