Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automation Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead, design, and optimize automation solutions across enterprise systems and business processes. The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in automation technologies, strong analytical abilities, and the capability to guide technical teams, drive automation strategy, and ensure successful delivery of automation initiatives onsite in Riyadh.

Key Responsibilities

Automation Strategy & Leadership

Develop and execute the organization's automation roadmap aligned with business objectives.

Provide expert guidance on automation frameworks, tools, best practices, and governance.

Lead automation assessments to identify optimization opportunities and recommend scalable solutions.

Technical Delivery

Design, build, and deploy automation solutions using leading automation platforms (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere, Python-based frameworks, test automation tools).

Review automation architecture to ensure maintainability, security, and performance.

Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure high-quality automation outputs.

Stakeholder Management

Collaborate closely with business teams, IT, and leadership to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

Serve as the primary automation advisor for stakeholders and project teams.

Present progress updates, technical documentation, and performance metrics to management.

Governance & Quality Assurance

Establish and enforce automation standards, coding practices, and documentation guidelines.

Ensure compliance with organizational, regulatory, and security requirements in Saudi Arabia.

Mentor junior automation engineers and support knowledge transfer initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

6–10+ years of hands-on experience in automation development and solution design.

Strong expertise in one or more automation platforms (e.g., UiPath, Blue Prism, Automation Anywhere).

Experience with test automation tools (Selenium, Robot Framework, Cypress), CI/CD, and DevOps pipelines.

Proficiency in scripting/programming languages (Python, PowerShell, Java, or C#).

Solid understanding of system integration, APIs, and enterprise workflows.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to lead technical discussions.

Strong communication skills with the ability to work onsite with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Relevant automation certifications (e.g., UiPath Advanced Developer, Blue Prism Professional, ISTQB, DevOps certifications).

Experience working in highly regulated sectors (government, BFSI, healthcare, or energy).

Background in cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, GCP) is a plus.
