Role & responsibilities

To monitor and control inventory transactions for all restaurant branches and the central warehouse. Ensure accurate stock valuation, proper cost recording, and compliance with company accounting and purchasing policies.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure all central warehouse and branch receipts are based on valid and approved Purchase Orders.
  • Check and reconcile inventory balances between branches, the central warehouse, and the accounting system.
  • Monitor stock transfers between the central warehouse and branches to ensure accuracy and proper documentation.
  • Participate in monthly and quarterly stock counts at branches and the central warehouse and report any variances.
  • Maintain accurate item costing and support in calculating the Cost of Goods Sold (COGS).
  • Prepare monthly inventory valuation and consumption reports.
  • Identify and report slow-moving, expired, or missing items.
  • Coordinate with purchasing, warehouse, and operations teams to resolve stock and documentation issues.
  • Support internal and external auditors with the required inventory and warehouse information.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • 35 years of experience in inventory or cost accounting (preferably in the restaurant or F&B industry).
  • Strong knowledge of inventory systems (e.g., Foodics, SAP, Oracle).
  • Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
  • Fluent in English (Arabic is a plus).

  • Ability to manage large-scale inventory across multiple branches and the central warehouse.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
