Are you passionate about sports and live events? We're looking for a
Language Support & Translation Assistant
to join our event operations team for an upcoming international football tournament.

In this role, you'll be responsible for supporting the
Language Services team
in providing accurate, timely, and professional translation and interpretation support to various departments, teams, and stakeholders during the event period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with translation, interpretation, and proofreading of documents, communications, and event materials.
  • Support the coordination of language service logistics (scheduling interpreters, managing translation requests, etc.).
  • Ensure consistent terminology and tone across multiple languages.
  • Provide on-site linguistic assistance for meetings, briefings, and match-day operations.
  • Work closely with venue teams, media, and protocol departments to ensure smooth communication between multilingual stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, or related field.
  • Fluency in English and at least one other language (Arabic, French, Spanish, or Asian languages preferred).
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Previous experience in large-scale events, sports tournaments, or hospitality environments is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment with flexibility during event operations.
