We are looking for talented Sr. Costing Section Head to lead and oversee all costing activities, ensuring accurate cost analysis, cost optimization, and proper control of production and operational expenses. The Costing Section Head is responsible for preparing cost reports, developing costing models, and supporting management in decision-making related to pricing, budgeting, and financial planning.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Costing & Analysis

Oversee the preparation and validation of product costing, standard costs, and bill of materials (BOMs).

Analyze cost variances and identify root causes (material, labor, overhead).

Review and update costing models, consumption rates, and production cycles.

Monitor inventory costing transactions, adjustments, and reconciliations.

Ensure accurate costing entries and updates in SAP.

  1. Cost Control & Optimization

Implement cost-control measures across departments to reduce unnecessary expenses.

Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with approved cost standards.

Recommend cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.

  1. Financial Reporting

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc costing reports for management.

Conduct cost rollups and ensure timely updates of standard costs in SAP.

Support forecasting, budgeting, and pricing decisions with accurate cost information.

  1. Cross-Functional Coordination

Coordinate with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, and Finance teams to validate data.

Ensure accurate material consumption reporting and stock movement tracking in SAP.

Participate in stock counts and ensure correct valuation of inventory.

  1. Leadership & Compliance

Supervise and guide the costing team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and audit requirements.

Maintain all costing documentation for internal and external audits.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Prefered Master degree.

  • Professional certification (CMA, CPA) is an advantage.

  • Minimum 7-8 years of costing experience, preferably in xmanufacturing.

  • Strong knowledge of SAP (CO, MM, PP modules) is required.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
